Artwork. I see Lorde written all over this collection. Those shoes are incredible and that black knit look drives me wild.
Feeling very Enid Coleslaw from Ghost World with my new green hair. Also, now featuring my new Chloe Doc boots ! I’m so excited about them, but I never realized how heavy they’d be; after a few hours I’m dying to get them off my feet. Oh well, it’s completely worth it. Also, word of wisdom: don’t try to drive in these shoes. I was flooring it as soon as I hit the gas…bad idea.
In preparation for my cross-country move, I’m selling a ton of my shoes in my Ebay shop Voodoo Vintage. Most are barely worn and all are at insanely discounted prices.
Bidding ends Sunday, June 10!

I have been severely lacking in inspiration lately for one reason: all I can think and dream about is platform shoes! I’m talking 90’s style Buffalo Shoes. Lace-up sneakers with sky-high platforms–I want them all! I remember in the 90’s I owned three pairs of Volatile sneakers that I wore everywhere. I severely regret the day I let those go.
But now I’ve got my sights set on the highly coveted Moonspoon Saloon x Buffalo Shoes platforms, and I’m not sure I can let these get away. I’ll need to up my game and sell a lot of phone cases on etsy for these babies (or just get a loan; they give loans for shoes, right?), because I feel like I’ll be restless until a pair of these is on my feet.

My saving Grace. Custo Dalmau‘s collection is what I’ve been waiting for. On Facebook I’ve been making a list of all the trends that have been prominent–no, more than prominent–they’ve saturated the runways this season. But Custo Barcelona takes me on an entirely new adventure. The tribal vibe with a sexy and daring twist just works for me. Not to mention those boots! Dead. Dalmau, I salute you.
Maybe nobody will be wearing overly-baggy jeans and wallet chains just yet, but for the last few seasons, 1990’s-inspired fashion has slowly crept back onto the scene.
It was first visible with Chanel’s notorious “clogs” Spring 2010 runway show which glorified the Clueless-esque clogs and floral print. But now, 90’s style is even more prevalent in today’s outfit choices:
Oh my crushed velvet! I blame the club kids. Fanny packs, grunge color pallets, “mom jeans”, light denim, combat boots, unatural hair dye, crop tops and 90s band tees are all making their way back into our closets.
Would you dare to flaunt these throwback platforms? Moonspoon Saloon makes the most incredible 90’s-esque stompers.
Confession: I’m dying to bring back the 90’s baseball cap trend. What about you?
